(NEPSE) index that had been a continous bullish run witnessed improvement this week. The stock market, thisweek, closed at 1357.14 points with an increase of 13.21 points compared to the opening day. Last week, it had been on the incline with 7.65 points at the last day compared to the first day. According toNEPSE, the stock market recorded transactions of some 16,086 times 66,14,220 shares of 142 companies worth aroundRs 3.44 billion. This amount is less than by 14.43 percent compared to the previous week. The sensitive index (Sensex) measuring the transactions of ‘A’ class companies touched 292.48 points with anincrease of 3.44 points compared to the opening day. National HydroPower Co.Ltd ( on the basis of transacted amount),National HydroPower Co.Ltd(on the basis of transacted number of shares)and National HydroPower Co.Ltd (On the basisof number of times) led the stock market that opened for four days this week.
