The KResearch projects that the value of Thai electrical appliance exports in 2013 will reach perhaps USD24.1-24.9 billion, up 5.5-9.0 percent year over year.

Nowadays, the world class producers of HDD and electronics components in Thailand such as Western Digital (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Stars Microelectronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited have taken initiatives to use the new platform of high technology in their assembly lines. This has set the trend in adding value to the products as well as corresponding with the demand of the global market for smarter electronics equipment and appliances which raise up the amount of order from global producers.

To help promote the growth of electronics manufacturing industry which the government of Thailand and the Board of Investment of Thailand have together put forward as a strategic industry to attract foreign investment, “NEPCON Thailand 2013” will serve as the central platform for the presentation of innovations, machinery and technology for electronics producers, subcontractors and entrepreneurs in the industry. The show will also encourage the exchange of technology and business dialogue between ASEAN member countries in preparation for the upcoming AEC in a couple of years time.
