POTENTIAL SCOPE REDUCTION
High School Windows Reduction of Scope ($581,600.00) 50% reduction from original scope. $581,000 of window replacement remains in potential referendum budget.
High School Receptacle Reduction of Scope ($254,000.00) 20% reduction from original scope. $1,000,000 of receptacle replacement/addition remains in the potential referendum budget for classrooms and labs. Assumes some corridors, common spaces and gym spaces do not need replacement/additional receptacles.
Owner's Representative During Construction ($500,000.00) Reduction from original amount allocated based on dollar amount of potential referendum. $750,000 remains in the potential referendum scope for owner representative services.
Additional 10% Reduction of LED lighting ($422,000.00) The $130,300,000 scope presented at the 11/13/2018 BOE meeting included a 25% reduction of the total LED replacement scope (75% still remained in the $130,300,000 scope). This reduction of an additional 10% would mean that 65% of the square footage of existing schools remains included in the potential referendum scope.

INITIAL RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $129,580,000
BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of the Neenah Joint School District, Winnebago County, Wisconsin that there shall be issued pursuant to Chapter 67 of the Wisconsin Statutes, general obligation bonds in an amount not to exceed $129,580,000 for the public purpose of paying the cost of a school building and improvement project consisting of: safety and security upgrades at all district facilities; construction and equipping of a new middle school, related site improvements and removal of Shattuck Middle School; building infrastructure, capital maintenance and building system improvements at all district schools; Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) updates at all district facilities; renovations of technical education and science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM) areas at the High School; and acquisition of related furnishings, fixtures and equipment.
