• Provide electronic records to requestors while being HIPAA compliant

• Designed to provide health care facilities with a user-friendly Windows interface for end-users

• Administrator Access

– Administrator tab listed on menu bar– Easy access for Administrators

Administrators

• Designated Administrators and Tasks– Adding and/or deleting Sensitive clinic locations

• Allows vxROI units to conduct ‘Sensitive Review’ before releasing information

– Entering and/or editing demographic information of a facility

• Facility data will appear on the correspondence

– Creating and/or editing Standardized letters– Disclosure Restrictions

• Options will display:

Health Summary Option

• Health Summary templates can be used• If a Health Summary is selected, all of the

information included in the template will print• If the Health Summary template encompasses

the entire medical record, vxROI can process the request using the HS

Sensitive Documents

• vxROI has the ability to alert users when a sensitive document is selected for release.

• A Padlock icon denotes a sensitive document

Additional Features

• Provides a complete accounting of disclosure for all documents released.

• Ability to release images that are associated with the patient.

• Automatic notice and reply letter(s) print functions.• Automated billing rules applied via the vxROI tracking

database.• Track all additional paper and imaged documents

requested not in the vxCPRS system.• Helping organizations meet ARRA Meaningful Use

requirements by providing a means to release any vxROI request electronically to the requestor.
