Requirements

• Draft Report - no later than January 31, 2014– Assessment of statewide 911 network– Examination of any efforts, project or initiative in

progress or planned to implement NG9-1-1– Identification of federal, state and local authorities,

agencies and governing bodies whose participation and cooperation will be necessary for implementation of NG9-1-1

• Final Report - no later than February 28, 2014• Recommendations with options for the planning,

development, phased-in implementation, and management of NG9-1-1

• Identification of any changes in MSAG guide required for NG9-1-1

• Identification of any equipment changes that would be needed by PSAPs

• Estimated cost of necessary components for planning, implementation and management of NG9-1-1, along with recommended funding options
