tificate a recognized qualification?

The NEBOSH International General Certificate

is accepted by IOSH – the Institution of Occupa-

tional Safety and Health – as meeting the aca-

demic requirements for Technician Member-

ship of IOSH (Tech IOSH). It is also accepted by

The International Institute of Risk and member-

ship.

The participants’ number does not exceed

the 15 individuals, to optimize interaction.

Minimum standard of English required

for candidates

The standard of English required by candi-

dates studying the NEBOSH International

Technical Certificate in Oil and Gas Opera-

tional Safety must be such that they can

both understand and articulate the con-

cepts contained in the syllabus. It is impor-

tant to stress that the onus is on accredited

course providers to determine their candi-

dates’ standards of proficiency in English.
