Message from our Chapter President
2015 NCEA-SEIU CHAPTER LEADERS
Thank you for electing me to the board. As President, I promise to represent all of our members to the best of my ability. You have a voice and I would like to hear what you have to say. I look forward to seeing you at the General Membership meetings.
Keep in mind that this is a contract year and while the City is very financially healthy, takeaways on health care, retirement & pensions are a trend statewide and we will need to be unified and join together as City Workers.
We would also like to see an increase in staffing to keep pace with the growth of the city and the demands on services. We are committed to quality services and it’s not acceptable to contract out of our jobs. We also deserve wages and benefits commensurate with the cost of living in Napa. - Jennie Lathum, NCEA-SEIU Chapter President

One key responsibility is to build a united, organized, and involved membership in our workplace.Without this involvement and solidarity, no union in the world can protect and serve its members. If you are interested in organizing workplaces; if you are good at solving problems, or if you want to educate or communicate with your co-workers, please contact NCEA-SEIU Represenative, Amanda Booker at [email protected], or reach out to one of the stewards from your
