Energy- and cost effective CO2 capture
• The SOLVit project: €40 mill investment from Aker Solutions, CLIMIT with SINTEF and NTNU as R&D partners
• Innovative solvent system, environmentally benign, new energy saving features
• Will contribute to realising CCS in Europe and beyond• Installed and tested at Technology Center Mongstad (TCM).
• To be installed at the cement kiln of Heidelberg Cement - Norcem in Brevik in 2022
• Partner in several EU funded projects
• World class Research Infrastructure - also the SINTEF Tiller facility
