Step-by-Step Instructionsfor Enrollees of the Online Course

Before You Begin:

1. Please use your computer to access the online course. If you use your cell phone, you may experience unpredictable performance.

2. You will get the best performance if you use the Google Chrome browser.

CHCS COQ Course Information

✓ There are ten (10) Chapters in the course that must be taken in order. Each Chapter has an audio recording,

resources, and the ability to take notes.

✓ You can stop at any point and the system will save your work.

To re-enter the course, login into your Certification account.

Scroll down and click on ‘Resume’ in the Courses box.

✓ At the end of each Chapter is an assessment that you must pass by 75%. You have an unlimited number of tries to

pass the Chapter assessment.

✓ After you have completed all 10 Chapters, you are required to pass a Final Assessment by 75%. You have an

unlimited number of tries to pass the Final Assessment.

How to Access the CHCS COQ Course

Go to the ‘Education’ tab at the top right of the home page. In the pull- down menu, click on ‘PDA-Approved Courses’. This will take you to the NCCAOM® PDA Search Engine.

1. In the ‘Course Name Contains’ search box, type in ‘Chinese Herbal Compounding’ and click the ‘Search’ button.

2. In the third course listed, click on ‘Purchase from NCCAOM’.

How to Access the CHCS COQ Course

Go to the ‘Education’ tab at the top right of the home page. In the pull- down menu, click on ‘Professional Development’.

In the lower right corner, click on ‘Purchase This Program’.

There are two ways to access the course on the NCCAOM website: www.nccaom.org

2. Non-Diplomate: Create a ‘New

Individual Account’.

The price of the certificate program is $150. Follow the steps through the portal below.

To re-enter the course, login into your Certification account. Scroll down and click on ‘Resume’ in the Courses box.

When you have completed the Chapter, proceed to the course assessment.

Chapter Assessment

Each Chapter has an assessment.

You must get a 75% score to pass.

You have an unlimited number of

tries.

When you pass the assessment,

the system will automatically

move you to the next Chapter.

Final Assessment

The final assessment has 24 questions. Eighteen (18) questions must be answered correctly to achieve a passing score of 75%. You have an unlimited number of tries to pass the final assessment.
