NCC REPORT FOR THE YEAR- 2020-21
➢ SUO SANDEEP P.C. has received the prestigious Commendation by the Chief Minister
of Karnataka Sri B.S. Yediyurappa for his exceptional devotion to duty and the example
he has set for others in NCC organization.

➢ NCC cadets attended the Independence Day Celebration Programme on 15th August 2020
in the college premises.
➢ NCC Cadets attended the Gandhi Jayanthi Celebration programme on 2nd October 2020 in
the College Premises.
➢ The Online and Offline Selection of NCC cadets for the academic year 2020-21 was held
in the college premises on 7th December 2020. Nearly 134 students attended in the selection
process. Physical Test and Written Test was conducted to select 35 cadets against the
vacancy.
➢ Cadet Niranjan D. has attended “Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharath Saptah” (Phase -V) Webinar
conducted by 1 (Karnataka) Air Sqn NCC, Bengaluru from 15th Jan 2021 to 30th Jan 2021.
Two 5- DAYS Annual Training Camp for NCC Cadets
➢ A 5-Day Annual Training Camp for NCC Cadets- Senior Division(Boys) and Senior
Wing(Girls)- from various colleges commenced at Govt. R.C. College Campus recently.
The camp is organised by 3 Karnataka Battalion NCC, Bangalore A Group from 18th
January 2021 to 22nd January 2021 and from 23rd January 2021 to 27th January 2021.
➢ Training was imparted to the cadets on various subjects such as Drill, Weapon Training,
Map Reading, First Aid, Adventure, Self-Defence, Military History, Physical Fitness, Field
Craft and Battle Craft.
➢ The Camp Commandant; Commanding Officer Colonel Subhash Sinha gave the opening
address and spoke about the need for the camp during this pandemic and motivated the
cadets to maintain the discipline during the camp. All the Covid 19 Safety measures were
followed in the camp.
➢ Lieutenant Colonel Kaustav Mohanti was the Deputy Camp Commandant. 209 NCC cadets
from Govt. R.C. College, Al-Ameen College, St. Joseph PU College and Govt. PU College,
Channapatna participated in the camp. Subedar Major SM Bhatt, Associate NCC Officer
Lt. Dr. Prakash M., was present in the camp. PI Staff, Civil Staff of 3 Kar Bn NCC attended
the camp.

➢ Republic Day was celebrated on 26th January 2021 in the college premises. All the NCC
cadets attended the programme.
➢ Personality Development Programme:
A Personality Development Programme titled- Game of Life: Play it right was conducted
for the NCC Cadets on 6th February 2021 in Kuvempu Auditorium. Ms. Ramya Sreedhar,

Entrepreneur and Certified Corporate Trainer addressed the NCC cadets. The programme
was arranged by the Ex NCC cadets. The programme benefited the cadets in shaping their
personality and career.
➢ Cadets Manjunath, Tejas N, and Devaraju H.M. participated in the cultural programme
during felicitation of Republic Day Contingent at Raj Bhavan and Vidhana Soudha on 10th
Feb 2021.
➢ On 21st Feb 2021, Written Test for B Certificate Exam was conducted in the College
premises for all the cadets of Bangalore A Group. Nearly 1600 cadets attended the exam.

➢ On 27th Feb 2021, Physical Test for C Certificate Exam was conducted in the College
premises for all the cadets of Bangalore A Group. Nearly 800 cadets attended the exam.
➢ Lt. Dr. Prakash M., ANO attended the Evaluation of B and C Certificate Exam papers from
2nd March 2021 to 6th March 2021 in Gp HQ.

➢ 8 NCC cadets participated in Lions Club Region Meet and provided piloting to the guests
and in return, the Lions Club one Sanitary Pad Vending Machine with Incinerator to the
college.
➢ On the occasion of World Environmental Day 2021, NCC cadets planted saplings at their
homes and also motivated their friends/relatives to plant trees.
➢ On the occasion of International Yoga Day 2021, A National Level Quiz was conducted in
association with 3 Kar Bn NCC. 449 cadets from all over India, participated in the online
quiz.
➢ Our NCC Cadets have also performed yoga on that occasion at home and also attended the
webinar conducted by the college.
➢ On 27th July 2021, on account of Kargil Diwas, NCC cadets of our college participated in
the Statue Cleaning Programme at Selection Centre, Cubbon Road, Bengaluru where the
statue of Captain Vikram Batra is cleaned and the programme was webcasted through
youtube.
