Activity No : 1 International Yoga Day Celebrations
Objectives: To undergo pre-training and to participate in the International
Yoga Day Celebrations
Description :The NCC cadets attended and trained in various yoga asanaas
organized by NCC Group Head quarters, Guntur for week days to participate in
the International Yoga Day Celebrations at Market yard, Guntur on 21st ,June
2015
Outcome: NCC cadets entered Limca Book of records as the biggest yoga
performance organized by NCC 25(A), betallion a total of 2,736 cadets
performed yoga from various schools and colleges in Guntur at 7.00PM on 21st
June 2015

Activity No: 2 Annual Training Camp -IV
Objectives: To equip the cadets with the drill, arm drill, leadership skills
required to appear for the certificate exams
Description: 30 cadets attended Annual Training Camp –IV at CBR academy
of sports and Education from 25 July to 3 Sep 2015 Kethanakonda, Krishna Dist.
Several competitions were organized in the camp. Meghana, Krishna Priya &
Sharmila of NCC cadets of Dept of Home science awarded prizes in essay
writing in the Flag area and Poster presentation on Missile Man APJ Kalam
Outcome: Acquired basic knowledge and skills required to appear the for the B
& C exams

Activity No: 3 Ticketless travelers awareness programme at Guntur
Railway Sattion
Objectives: To create awareness to the ticketless travelers and to educate the
passengers on cleanliness in collaboration with the Railways, Guntur, junction
Description: The NCC and Sports students of GCW participated as volunteers to
create awareness to the ticketless travelers and also educated the passengers
on cleanliness in the platforms and station premises in collaboration with the
Railway ticket collectors of Guntur division on July 27th 2015. Students were
actively engaged to create awareness and worked to prevent the ticketless
travelers

Activity-4 Independence Day Celebration
Objectives: To celebrate national festivals as a token of gratitude to the
freedom fighters
To inculcate the spirit of national integration and communal
harmony among the cadets
Description: 40 NCC cadets performed parade drill on the eve of Independence
day on 15-08-2015 at the college premises and saluted the national flag hoisted
by the college Principal. All the teaching and non teaching fraternity and
students and NCC cadets celebrated this national festival.

Outcome: Enable the cadet with the team spirit and paraded in the college
campus
Activity No: 5 Armed forces Flag Day Fund collection
Objectives: Objective: Enable the cadets to memorize the commitment and
sacrifices of armed forces for the nation
Description: NCC cadets collected contributions on 21.8.2015 from the college
students, staff, common people and handed over funds to the Sainic welfare
office, at Market road, Guntur. They have expressed satisfaction for the funds
raised for the welfare of the army personnel families who sacrificed their lives
for the nation
Outcome: Outcome: Inspired by the heroism, recollected the sacrifices of the
armed forces and raised funds for their families welfare
Activity No: 7 Institutional training
Objectives: To conduct parade classes to enable them to equip all required
skills
Description: Institutional training through 35 parade classes taught to 1st,
2ndand 3rd year NCC cadets in the form of theory and practicals in the months of
November, December and January. Cadets gained basic knowledge and skills on
drill, armed drill, saluting etc at college.
Outcome: Gained theoretical knowledge and skills on drill, armed drill,
saluting etc by parade classes held at college to appear for the B & C certificate
exams.

Activity No: 8 Combined annual Training camp (CATC) –II Markapur
Objectives: To equip the cadets with the drill, arm drill, leadership skills
required to appear for the certificate exams
Description: 4 cadets attended Combined annual Training camp (CATC) –II
Markapur from 18 - 27th Sep This camp enable the cadets to learn physical
training, obstacle training, shooting, map reading, social and cultural activities,
besides focusing on developing leadership qualities, cooperation etc.
Outcome: Helps them to develop camaraderie, team work, leadership qualities,
self-confidence, besides physical training, obstacle training, shooting, map
reading, etc
Activity No: 9 Swacch Bharath Inaugural Rally
Objectives: To enlighten the community on the importance of Swacch Bharath
Description: NCC Cadets participated in the swacch bharath inaugural rally
along with the Chief Minister and other leaders of Andhra Pradesh in the
Guntur city on October 2nd 2015.The cadets joined the rally from market
junction to the parade grounds
Outcome: Propagated the social responsibility of cleaning our own city

Activity No:10 Historic event of foundation stone laying ceremony of new
capital of Andhra Pradesh at Uddhandarayunipalem
Objectives: To participated as volunteers for the historic event of foundation
stone laying ceremony of new capital of Andhra Pradesh
Description: NCC Cadets participated as volunteers for the historic event of
foundation stone laying ceremony of new capital of Andhra Pradesh at
Uddhandarayunipalem on Oct 22. The cadets of GCW have arrived the venue in
the early hours, divided in to teams and were allotted cabins to guide and
maintain discipline among the one lakh people along with the police and

paramilitary forces. Students were satisfied with the given opportunity to be
part of an historic event like this.

Activity No: 11 Annual Training camp (ATC) –I
Objectives: To equip the cadets with the drill, arm drill, leadership skills
required to appear for the certificate exams
Description 9 cadets attended Annual Training camp (ATC) –I Kakinada
from 17 - 26th October and learned drill, arm drill and leadership qualities.
Cadets expressed that this camp helps to learn basic knowledge and skills
required to appear the for the B & C exams

Activity No: 12 Pre-Republic Day ATC-VI
Objectives: To prepare the cadets for the pre republic day camps
Description: 2 cadets Madhura Meenakshi & Naga Vardhini selected Pre-
Republic Day ATC-VI at CBR academy Pherangipuram and trained from 25
October – 3 rd November.
Outcome: During these camps the selected NCC cadets undergone intense
training and this camp acted as a platform for selection process before finalizing
the team to be sent to for the RDC held at New Delhi
Activity No: 13 Pre-Republic Day CATC –III
Objectives: To prepare the cadets for the pre republic day camps
Description:2 cadets Madhura Meenakshi & Naga Vardhini selected for Pre-
Republic Day CATC –III trained from 4th – 13th November at Hyderabad.
Outcome: During these camps the selected NCC cadets undergone intense

Objectives: To create unique opportunity to understand the various cultures in
India
Description: 2 cadets attended National Integration Camp (NIC) - II Warangal
Telangana state from 17th – 28th November. This is a prestigious camp to the
cadets as the cadets were drawn across the country.

Outcome: This camp aims to foster national integrity among the youth and give
them an opportunity to interact with the cadets from different parts of the
country.

Objectives: To participate in the 67th NCC Day celebrations
Description: 67th NCC Day celebrations 2015 on 22nd November at JKC College,
Guntur three cadets of senior wing have selected and awarded prizes

Objectives: To prepare the cadets to represent in the Republic Day parade
contingent of AP
Description: P. Madhura Meenakshi III BSC (Maths) have participated in
Republic Day celebrations held at New Delhi and she is the only girl cadet who
cleared all the rounds and selected in senior wing from Guntur region. She
expressed immense joy as selections in the NCC girls contingent march down
Rajpath in New Delhi is the remarkable and longstanding dream of every NCC
cadet.
Outcome: This camp is a great dream of every cadet as they are representing
their own state

Activity No 20 “B” & “C” certificate examination
Objectives: To prepare the cadets to appear for the B & C certificate courses
Description: During this academic year 25 senior cadets appeared and 5 passed
for the “C’ certificate examination and 14 candidates appeared and cleared for
‘B’ certificate conducted on 24th -28th of February.
Outcome: 5/25 passed in the “C’ certificate examination
14/14 passed in the “B’ certificate examination
