The Central Planning Board established in 1942 to organise and rationalise production

- Substitutes / raw material to be encouraged

- Industrial capacity to be increased

- Regulations of the manufacture of unnecessary goods

- Schedules & comparison for outputs

- Organised the distribution of labour, machinery and power supplies

- Women´s role to be increased in the war factories
