About Nazdiv - Emerging Tourism & Transportation Technology Accelerator:
The Association for Culture and Tourism Nazareth, Nazareth and MEPI (US Embassy), are launching a
unique program for the Arab population.
Nazdiv is an accelerator program for Arab entrepreneurs focused on the tourism and transportation
sectors. Nazdiv encourages and promotes Arab entrepreneurs and aims to add to the Nazareth
Ecosystem and the Arab population in general.
Why Nazdiv focuses on Tourism and Transport Sectors:
Tourism and transport are two areas with tremendous potential globally, especially when coupled with
technology and innovation. Yet much of the potential remains untapped.
In addition, Nazareth is a leading attraction, visited by over two million tourists every year.

Speakers Bios:
Guy Pross:
Guy is a founding partner of investment firm 31ºNorth and a Venture Partner
at The Yozma Group, a leading Israeli VC.
Most recently he was an executive and co-founder of the Australian arm of
Better Place where he held multiple senior management roles in areas of
Strategy, Business Development, Government Affairs and Operations.
With over 15 years of experience, Guy is an entrepreneur with a passion for
technology, commercialization, innovation and public policy.
Levi Shapiro:
Levi Shapiro is a Partner at Veritas Ventures, Israel’s oldest venture capital
firm, in their digital health fund. Previously, he was Managing Partner at
JIMMI Fund, overseeing investments in Technology, Media and Telecom. Mr.
Shapiro advises numerous technology startups and led business development
for mobile video chat application, Glide. He is the Founder and organizer of
the annual mHealth Israel conference (www.mhealthisrael.com) and monthly
mHealth Israel meetup: http://www.meetup.com/mHealth-Israel. During a 20
year career in technology, including 7 years in Tokyo and Beijing, Levi launched new business units
(IBM), new products (Toyota) and several mobile startups (TwoMinute Television, Snack Mobile, etc). He
teaches Entrepreneurship and Marketing at IDC Herzliya and writes the bi-weekly "Unleavened Media"
column for the Jerusalem Post.
Raphael Nejman:
Raphael brings over 7 years of experience in venture capital investments, as an
attorney and investment banker.
At Amit, Pollak, Matalon & Co. law firm, Raphael specialized in the formation
of Private Equity and Venture Capital funds, and assisted startup companies
with respect to equity investments, both in Israel and abroad. At Cukierman &
Co. Investment House, Raphael managed the Agro-tech division and assisted
companies with respect to cross-border fund raising, M&A's and IPO's.
