Middle and High School students answer four

questions using tools in Naviance Succeed…

1.Who am I?

2.Who do I want to become?

3.Where do I want to go?

4.How will I get there?

Who Am I?

• Personal Success Plan – goals & tasks

• Journaling

• Favorite Colleges

• Favorite Careers and Clusters

• Personality Type

• My Game Plan

CITE Learning Styles Inventory

104-question test that

assesses student learning

preferences and gives

them recommendations on

how to improve their study

effectiveness according to

these preferences.

Who Am I?

Career Cluster

Finder is a simple

assessment that

helps students

discover which

career clusters may

be a good match for

them based on

activities that

interest

them, personal

qualities the

student has, and

subjects they enjoy

in school.

Who Do I Want to Become?

The Career Key is based on John

Holland's theory of career choice. The

theory explains work-related behavior –

such as, which career choices are likely

to lead to job success and satisfaction.

The Holland Codes is a system to

classify jobs into job

categories, interest clusters or work

personality environments.

Understanding Holland’s theory will

help you make good choices –

decisions about which

occupations, careers, or majors best fit

In the Holland Model, the six work

personalities are:

Realistic, Investigative, Artistic, Social, E

nterprising, and Conventional

Who Do I Want to Become?

Once a student has found a career, a tabbed page will appear with a description of the career, related majors and career clusters for the career, the knowledge and skills needed for the career, common tasks and activities, and wage information.

Who Do I Want to Become?

Where Do I Want To Go?

You can search by filtering through a set of questions about what is important to you in finding the right fit: type, location, students, majors admission, cost athletics, and/or special programs. You can view matches and then narrow your options and compare/contrast schools.

Where Do I Want To Go?

Students work with

counselors and IKIC

staff to develop

SMART goals

including 2 academic

goals, 2 career

development

goals, and 1 personal

and/or social goal
