ABOUT THE ARTISTSDescribed as 'two superlative musicians' (The Australian), Bonnie Brown and Louisa Breen formed Brown & Breen Piano Duo in 2011. It has become one of Australia's most prominent piano duos. Dedicated to championing the Australian musical voice both locally and internationally, its recent international tours include France, North America and Australia, in venues such as the Sydney Opera House, Australian Embassies in Paris and Washington D.C. (by the Ambassadors’ invitations), Symphony Space on Broadway, New York, Steinert Hall, Boston, the Cité International des Arts, Paris, and many venues in regional France and Australia. Their innovative, thrilling programs span musical history and mix new commissions from Australia's most sought-after, revered and exciting composers with hidden gems of the piano duo repertoire and popular classics. Their first disc, Songs Of Home, was released to enthusiastic reviews in 2016 and is frequently played on North American, ABC national and local Australian radio.
