    Instructions :

Begin by casting on 32 sts on size US 19 needles using Provisional Cast-on with the scrapyarn and crochet hook. Begin the Cable Lattice stitch pattern as follows :

    Row 1 (WS) : k3, p4, * k2, p4; rep from * to last stitch, k1Row 2 (RS) : p1, C4F, * p2, C4F; rep from * to last 3 sts, p3Row 3 : repeat row 1Row 4 : p3, * k2, T4B; rep from * to last 5 sts, k4, p1Row 5 : k1, p4, * k2, p4; rep from * to last 3 sts, k3Row 6 : p3, C4B, * p2, C4B; rep from * to last st, p1Row 7 : repeat row 5Row 8 : p1, k4, * T4F, k2; rep from * to last 3 sts, p3

Repeat Rows 1-8 until your piece measures approximately 36 inches. If you have broadershoulders, go ahead and knit till about 42 inches, in which case youll most likely needanother skein of yarn (about 240 yards total).

Once youve finished knitting, use the 3 needle bind-off method with the right sides facingeach other and bind off. Weave in ends.

    Pom-Poms & Cord :

Make 2 pom-poms and set aside. Make a cord by twisting your yarn so it twists onto itself.Pull the cord through the lattice pattern about 3 inches from one edge. Attach the pom-poms to each end of the twisted cord. All done. Now go and play :)
