be developed by assigning specific goal oriented

renovated, modernized and upgraded to provide

the full range of ISM treatment

according to current availability of motivated staff,

OPO & IPO attendance and locational advantages.

renovate each Ayurvedic hospital

• At the PHC and district hospital level, Central

Government would encourage the setting up

of specialty centres and ISM clinics & funds

would be provided centrally for drugs listed in

the Essential Drugs Lists

• To set up Panchkarma/Ksharsutra clinics/centres

in the existing allopathic hospitals

• To fill up the gaps of scarcity of essential ISM&H

drugs

hospitals of allopathy who wish to establish

Panch karma and Ksharsutra facilities

Ayurvedic doctors on the pattern of allopathic

counterparts.
