Report

1. National Level Research Scholars Workshop on E- Resources and Data Analysis from 9th to 14th

February, 2015 (6 days) was organized by the School of Biodiversity and Environmental Monitoring

of the PG and Research Department of Advanced Zoology and Biotechnology, Loyola College,

Chennai 600 034.

2. Around 40 research scholars and professors from various academic and research institutions

participated. 30 eminent professors and scientists contributed for the manual preparation and hands

on sessions.

3. The hands on sessions were held at MCA Lab, Computer Academy.

4. We sincerely thank Rev. Fr. Wenish SJ and Prof. Alex for their cooperation and support.

5. We place on record our sincere thanks to Rev. Dr. G. Joseph Antony Samy SJ, Principal, Loyola

College for granting necessary permission and approval to conduct this week long workshop for the

benefit of Research scholars and Professors. He deserves all praise and appreciation for announcing

the cash prize of Rs 18,000/- (1st Prize Rs 10,000/-, 2nd Prize Rs 5,000/- and 3rd Prize Rs 3,000/-) for

the best scientific concept paper presentation by the participants which motivated the participants to

a greater extent.
