NLDC Mission Statement: The National Leadership Development Conference (NLDC) exists to empower the leadership of Nu Alpha Kappa with the skills to run their chapter effectively during the upcoming school year. NLDC is an annual event to prepare our undergraduate chapter officers and emerging leaders for the coming academic year. Now in its 16th year, NLDC has become a marquee & prestigious gathering of the NAK Leadership consisting of intensive, 3-day leadership development & training seminars as well as a unifying conclave & national meeting. Over 150 Brothers, undergraduate and professional alumni of Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc. are exposed to a series of plenary and job-specific workshops, tutorials and are provided opportunities for group dialogue & sharing. The NLDC is a proud tradition of NAK per its mission statement: It allows the brotherhood to unite in a common vision consistent with Nu Alpha Kappa’s proud pillars of: Knowledge, Culture & Brotherhood. Guest speakers from around the country will provide vital information ranging from a variety of issues including: •  Steps Toward Leading A Successful Event or Program •  NAK Man Standard’s of Excellence •  Risk Prevention and Management •  CPR Training •  Financing & Fundraising

Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity, Inc. continues to give members the tools necessary to lead, innovate and produce substantial results in their educational and professional careers. NAK (established in 1988) has developed into one of the top community service organizations as well as one of the largest Latino Greek organizations on the West Coast. A majority of our more than 2,500 nationwide members are first-generation college students and first-generation graduates.
