GOOD WARNINGS
People involved in the proposal are not necessary those involved in the implementation
Some of your partners may be involved in other EM with other rules
Inequal partner’s committment & communication: Results are linearly linked
Work hard on the « horizontal communication » (partner-to-partner)
Financial management takes times – Think about bank transfer, Scholarship payment…
Be careful to be ready for docs & process:
- Student agreement, learning agreement…
- Notification process, reserve list management, airplane tickets & insurance…
WARNINGS – Application/Selection/Implementation
Prodigal partners: be careful to the scaling between offers/applicants
Applicant Strategy
Applicant unpredactibility
The application map do not necessary allow to fulfill the objectives
The overall project is huge but per partners maybe disappointing
The balance: The final mobility scheme is over-constrained (nationality, type, duration, gender, TG…)
Notification: No answer, ask for delay, last minutes withdrawals…
The deadlines for departure ! Good/bad reasons to delay, visa…
Collecting the documents
Conclusion From Experience
A spirit
An intense and building up professional experience
Labelized your institution & helps its internationalization
Develop your institutional network and leadership
« Open the window »
Provide financial support
But
Sustainability is a challenge (1 edition only)
Too low flexibility (splitting, starting deadline rather than ending ones…)
