markets No estimates available for exports of spices, Kinow, Heena,
Isagol Lac of certification
Unawareness about Sanitary & Phyto sanitary standards Organic certification
Poor PHM Infrastructure Limited facilities for grading, sorting & packaging Inappropriate transport facilities for erishables
Poor Mandi infrastructure Lack of net work of rural/ local markets
Lac of perishable cargo centre
Export PotentialFruits Mandarin, Kinnow, Oranges,
Aonla & its Products
Fresh Vegetables
Tomato, Onion, Okra, Pea, Green Chillies, Capsicum, Bitter Gourd, Tinda, Cabbage, Cauliflower
Spices Spice's seeds, powder, oleoresin, essential oil,Chilli & Chilli Powder, Garlic, Garlic paste & powder

Others Honey & its products
Major constraints… Low availability & poor quality of water Inadequate availability of quality planting material Initial high investment cost involved in horticulture
crops Poor market intelligence network Market glut & price fluctuations Limited facilities for grading & sorting Inappropriate packing and transport facilities for
perishables Improper market infrastructure Meager quantities diverted for processing & weak agro
based industry Lac of Sanitary & Phyto sanitary laboratories Lac of perishable cargo centre
SWOT analysisStrengthsFavorable climate for production of Seed spices, Ber, Mandarin, Kinnow, Pomegranate, Aonla and Bael
Available surplus in Spices, Onion, Pea and Cucurbits
WeaknessesLesser-availability of quality planting material
Acute shortage of water
Poor PHM Infrastructure
OpportunitiesAmple scope in area expansion of fruits
Potential to increase production and export of seed spices
Vast potential of medicinal and aromatic plants
ThreatsHigh cost of production, poor price stability and lack of remunerative prices
Frost during winter, high wind velocity with high temperature in summers
