Fundamentals of Breast Tomosynthesis Workshop

This live class meets the FDA requirement of eight hours of tomosynthesis training as a new modality for radiologists. The eight-hour workshop includes didactic lectures, self-assessments and case reviews.

Opto-Acoustic Breast Imaging Workshop

Opto-acoustic imaging (OA/US) is an emerging technology that displays both functional and anatomic features of breast masses, designed to help distinguish between benign and malignant histologies, reduce false positive diagnoses and improve diagnostic accuracy.

This technology has already received market approval in Europe, and a multi-institution-al clinical trial of >2000 patients has been recently completed in the United States.

In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to review benign and malignant cases imaged with OA/US, receive feedback from trained readers and learn how this modality may be utilized in clinical practice in the near future.

Advanced Breast Tomosynthesis Workshop

The Advanced Breast Tomosynthesis Workshop, lasting six hours, intended for those who have attended any prior eight-hour workshop on tomosynthesis.

Automated Breast Ultrasound Workshop

Participants will receive guided instruction in automated breast ultrasound interpreta-tion by expert faculty, as well as oppor-tunity to perform independent review of numerous clinical automated breast US data sets at an independent workstation. This live class applies toward fulfilling the FDA training requirement.

Course Materials

You will receive a digital syllabus contain-ing lecture abstracts and slides accompanied by a notebook with lecture objectives and note pages. Course evaluations will arrive in your email each day of the symposium; we thank you for your feedback.

CME Certificate

We will email you your CME certificate to the address provided with your registration. We suggest an address that allows an attachment to ensure timely delivery.

SAM Certificate

You will receive one SAM credit for each set of two paired SAM lectures as noted in the program, provided you participate in both lectures. Attendees must have a working smartphone that is web enabled to participate. Your SAM certificate will be emailed to the address provided with your registration. Again, we suggest an email address that allows an attachment from us to ensure timely delivery of your SAM certificate.
