• By the end of 2015 Poland has to achieve EU standards of cleaned wastewater and achieve 75% of reduction of whole nitrogen and phosphor in municipal wastewater by implementation of the National programme on wastewater treatment and Baltic action plan on reduction eutrophication of Baltic Sea Depends on regional and local conditions

• According to statistical data for 2008, only 63.1% of the population is serviced by wastewater treatment plants

• About 98,67% of Polish cities were served by centralised wastewater treatment plants and 86,9% of the city populations and 25,7% of rural population

• Poland is very pour in drinking water resources so saving water by reuse of grey water and use of rainwater have to be priority not only for decentralised but for centralised wastewater systems as well

• Significance of decentralised wastewater treatment was noticed on national level an the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management foreseen 300 milion PLN for building 11.000 household wastewater treatment plants and 21.000 connections to centralised systems

• The worst situation is in the rural, where the length of wastewater network is fivefold shorter then water network and decentralized wastewater treatment is sometimes only one solution or cheapest option with comparison to centralised system

• A lot of decentralised wastewater treatment installations are used in Poland in rural areas and in areas where no access to centralised wastewater treatment based on national on foreign technologies but very often wastewater remains untreated or is cleaned insufficiently

• Innovative ENKOSYSTEM is proposed by ENKO company as the offer for decentralised wastewater treatment

1. PurposeSewage treatment in single household

and small villages which are difficult to cover by central wastewater system in view of:

• big distraction• area formation• area secure

2. ENKOSYSTEM - construction 2 vessels

equipped with technological system covering mechanical, chemical and biological treatment processes together with automatic control

3. Multifunctional vessel – located under ground,

divided into 3 zones• Gravitational sewage collection and sepa- ration constant factors from organic liquid• Plastic filter with formed biological systems which launch demineralization reaction, nitrification reaction and dephosphatation reaction of sewage.• Central zone with installed dozing pump.

4. Biological vessel– presents system of spicy-floral sewage cleaning system and absorption of left mineral compounds• External zone – sewage aeration by system of microbes settled on plants roots and absorption of arisen mineral

compounds by roots system • Internal zone – further processing by microbes

seated in keramzyt pores and natural filtration left suspended matter through keramzyt layer.

• Gravitational cleaned water outlet

5. ENKOSYSTEM – benefits• mall construction footprint required• Very high efficiency: up to 1,5 m3/day• Valuable final product – odor-free and without

sediment• Maintenance free process with automatic control• No chemicals required• Very high outside esthetic – plants

decorativeness• Very low power consumption app. 1,7 kWh/day
