ANNUAL REPORT(2018-2019)

INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENTS

1. SUO Sreethul K M participated in the prestigious Prime Minister Rally of Republic Day parade held at

New Delhi in January 2018.

2. CDT Arun K H participated in the prestigious Prime Minister Rally of Republic Day parade held at New

Delhi in January 2019.

CAMPS ATTENDED

1. 29 cadets attended the Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC), arranged by 24 (K) Bn NCC at St

Aloysius College, Elthuruth in April 2018.

2. SGT Deepak Krishna V D attended in the Inter Group Competition of Shooting Competition at Idukki in

May 2018.

3. CPL Narayanan K V attended in the Inter Group Competition of Thal Sainik Camp at Kozhikode in

August 2018.

4. SGT Melwin Joshy, SGT Vibin Francis, CPL Sreepath A S and L/CPL Alwin Paul attended Army

Attachment Camp at Trivandrum in September 2018.

5. 3 Cadets – CDT Arun K H, CDT Aswin Krishna S and CDT Harisankar T G attended the RDC IGC

camp at UC College, Aluva organized by Ernakulam GP HQ in 0ctober 2018.

6. 25 cadets attended the Annual Training Camp (ATC), arranged by 24 (K) Bn NCC at JNV, Mayannur in

October 2018.

7. L/CPL Adarsh Chandrababu attended in the AP Trekking Expedition Camp at Tirupati in October 2018.

8. JUO Remeto Roy attended in the NIC EBSB Camp at Kozhikode in December 2018.

9. CPL Narayanan K V attended in the All India Trekking Camp at Mambra in December 2018.

10. SUO Sreethul K M attended in the Advanced Leadership Camp at Ahmedabad, Gujarat in January 2019.

VARIOUS DAYS OBSERVED

1. When International yoga day was celebrated all over the country on June 21st 2018, our NCC cadets also

took initiative and arranged yoga day celebration in our college. Shri Balakrishnan Pallath, Thrissur District

Yoga Association secretary lead the Yoga practice session. He also spoke about the importance of Yogasan

in our day to day life.

2. International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking was observed on 26 June 2018. A rally was

conducted spreading awareness on drug abuse and its harmful effects. Cadets also distributed brochures in

the locality.

3. Independence Day was celebrated in the institution with all its glory on August 15th 2018. Our manager

Rev. Fr. Jose Payyapilly hoisted the National Flag and shared the message of Independence Day to the

cadets and the students.

4. Gandhi Jayanti celebration was conducted in the campus on October 2, 2018. Cadets cleaned the campus

and poster making competition was conducted among the cadets on the topic Swatch Bharath Abhiyan.

5. When the 70th NCC day celebration was organized by 7(K) Girls Bn NCC, Thrissur, the cadets took part

in the parade representing 24(K) Bn NCC Thrissur where the Chief Guest was Lt Gen Sharath Chant ,the

former Army Vice Chief. The program was conducted at Kerala Police Academy, Ramavarmapuram.

6. Flag Day was observed on 7 Dec 2018. Principal offered flowers on to the Amar Jawan. Cadets salute the

valiant soldiers who was martyred. Cadets took initiative in collecting funds for the welfare of armed force

personals.

7. Republic day was celebrated on 26 th January 2019. College Principal Rev. Fr.(Dr.) Babu K T was the

chief guest. Principal hoisted the National flag and gave a wonderful republic day message. Teaching staff,

Non Teaching staff, Cadets and Ex Cadets were present on that occasion.

SPECIAL DUTIES UNDERTAKEN

16 cadets were deployed as special police officers by Kerala Police on the occasion of 58th State School

youth festival held in Thrissur during 6-10 January 2018.

33 cadets joined hands in the Kerala Flood Relief Program conducted at SRKGVMHSS Puranattukara,

Thrissur Corporation Stadium and their respective localities.

NCC CERTIFICATE EXAMINATIONS

1. 14 cadets attended ‘B’ certificate examination on 9th February 2019 at SRKGVMHSS Puranattukara

organized by 7(K) Girls Bn NCC. 2. 19 cadets attended the ‘C’ certificate examination conducted by 24 [K]

BN NCC Thrissur at SCAM College,Kuttenellur on 23rd and 24th February 2019.

● On 26th February 2018, Guard of honor was given to Shri. Kurian Joseph, Honorable Supreme Court

Justice on the occasion of inauguration of Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the College.

On 3rd December 2018, Guard of honor was given to Shri. P Sathasivam, Honorable Kerala State

Governnor on the occasion of Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the College.

VARIOUS DAYS OBSERVED

1. 21/06/2018-INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

International yoga day was observed on june 21 in college auditorium.All cadets took part actively.

33 cadets joined hands in the Kerala Flood Relief Program conducted at SRKGVMHSS Puranattukara,

Thrissur Corporation Stadium and their respective localities.

1.ANNUAL TRAINING CAMP

Annual Training Camp: Inorder to enhance the physical and mental prowess of cadets Annual Training

Camps are conducted twice a year during Onam and Christmas Holidays.We are glad to note that this

year ATC was conducted in our Campus from 19th

April 2018 to 28th April 2018.29 cadets attended ATC

this year . 25 cadets attended the Annual Training Camp (ATC), arranged by 24 (K) Bn NCC at JNV,

Mayannur in October 2018.

2.B CERTIFICATE AND C CERTIFICATE EXAM

14 cadets attended ‘B’ certificate examination on 9th February 2019 at SRKGVMHSS Puranattukara

organized by 7(K) Girls Bn NCC.

19 cadets attended the ‘C’ certificate examination conducted by 24 [K] BN NCC Thrissur at SCAM

College,Kuttenellur on 23rd and 24th February 2019

GOLDEN JUBILEE CELEBRATION

1. 26/02/2018 INAUGURATION OF GOLDEN JUBLIEE CELEBRATION

On 26th February 2018, Guard of honor was given to Shri. Kurian Joseph, Honorable Supreme Court Justice

on the occasion of inauguration of Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the College.

2. 3/12/2018 GURD OF HONOR

On 3rd December 2018, Guard of honor was given to Shri. P Sathasivam, Honorable Kerala State

Governnor on the occasion of Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the College.
