To date they have successfully treated over 1million Canadians

In my opinion C.C.C. is a very important charity.
Many of my family members dies from cancer.
That means I will probably die from it.

There are 3 main ways to treat cancer:

*Radiation.

*Radiation therapy is the use of a certain type of energy.
X-rays, gamma rays and electrons are used to destroy cancer cells.
Radiation only destroys cells in the area being treated.
*Cancer drugs
*Certain drugs are used to treat certain cancers.
*ANTIMETOBOLITES interfere with DNA growth and are used to treat leukemia breast cancer and ovarian tumors.
*Anthracyclines are anti tumor antibiotics that disrupt DNA replication.
*SURGERY
There are several types of surgery patients can receive:

*Breast surgery
*Lung surgery
