    and cultural development oftheir local communities.

    Therefore, the study includedstudents of Interdisciplinary

    Study Programme of Cultureand Tourism, who surveyedlocal residents and tourists,and interviewed experts inrelated fields.

    heritage, alternative culture...

    - Investments in the the old city core, cultural heritage and cultural

    industries;- Extending the season through the integration of attractions in

    events and European cultural routes;

    - Valorization of the ex-military zone and the fortification system;

    - Networking and design of integrated cultural tourism products and

    international projects that could be financed from EU funds.
