2012, only 23.3% women from the age group of 30-44 years in urban India were a part of the workforce. While, 98.8% of the men in the same age group were working.
• Almost 91% of women who take a maternity break in India want to come back to work. 58% of women are able to rejoin full time work while 42% are unable to do the same. (Source : Center for Talent Innovation (CTI))
• According to research by Catalyst, around 50% of working women in India fail to reach roles that are beyond the junior or mid-level, mainly because of responsibilities after marriage and childbirth. In rest of Asia, this number is 29%.

LOCATION OF THE FACILITY
ELIGIBILITY: The minimum age of the child to avail the
creche facility is 6 months for majority of the organizations, though it is 3 months for very few organizations and goes up to 8 years
MANAGEMENT: Majority of the organizations outsourced
the creche facility to a third party vendor who specializes in childcare
Few of the third party vendor used by the organizations participated in the survey are Amelio, Klay, WeCare, etc.
