Grimsby, UK 19 February 2015 Dear Delegates Welcome to the 10th North Atlantic Seafood Forum (NASF) here in Bergen. Seafish is delighted to be a part of the 10th anniversary celebrations along with the rest of the UK delegation, which has always been a big supporter of the event. Over the past 10 years, the conference has grown to become the largest seafood business event in the world tackling the challenges of sustainability, food security and ever changing policy and regulation. It has provided an excellent platform to share knowledge and experience and many successful business relationships have been formed along the way. Long may we continue to be inspired. The 10th NASF conference provides an opportunity once again for the seafood industry to talk about global progress in sustainability and learn from each other on best practice in marketing and communicating this to the wider world. For us in the UK, it is a chance to showcase and share with you the successes of the UK seafood industry which plays a crucial part in our global supply chain. I would also like to take this opportunity to invite you to a UK reception at the end of day one, which Seafish is co-hosting, As well as celebrating 10 years of NASF, we will be sharing information about the World Seafood Congress, which takes place in Grimsby in September 2015. We hope you will join us to meet with colleagues and friends, old and new to find out about this upcoming event. I wish you a pleasant stay in Bergen, Yours truly
