The beginning.

Page 3: Narrative theory

This shows the relationship between the characters. Harry Potter being in the foreground well lit and the two other protagonists in the midground but still has the same amount of light as the foreground. The three characters are in the centre third which also features the light source ( the window). Both sides of the protagonists are in contract and are in the shadows to create emphasis and focus on the central third.

Page 4: Narrative theory

This frame is shot at a Low angle to show the power of Harry potter. However because he is not in the centre third it can suggest that he is not in full power but is gaining it and becoming more powerful as the film goes on.

Harry Potter :The half blood prince

The end

Theory:In this ending scene it involves propp’s theory. The

characters that are seen as the heroes are the only people in the ending scene. The scene includes the main hero Harry also Harry’s Helpers. One of his helpers was previously his princess when they were younger. We know this because Even though they are not in fairy tale aspects and more normal life.

In the end scene the story line continues after the father figure to the hero dying and the plot is starting to build up the challenges and puzzles that will be part of the next sequel films.
