Naples is the

third Italian

city for population.It is situated in the south of Italy, in the Campania

region ,in an area between the volcano Vesuvius and a separate volcanic area,

the Phlegrean Fields.

The sightseeing is dominated by the Vesuvius: one of the most famous volcanoes on Earth. It is one of the symbols of

Naples.

The Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta is the cathedral of Naples. It is the largest basilica in the city.

The waterfront between Castel dell’Ovo and Posillipo , with its panoramic view , is the most

famous scene of Naples .

The symbol of modern Naples is the Administrative Centre with its skyscrapers.

over the world . To prepare it, the pizzamaker must work with his palms and thumbs , use San Marzano tomatoes ,mozzarella, olive oil , grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and a few leaves of fresh basil.
