Northern California’s Napa Valley is beyond doubt the most
famous winegrowing region in America and one of only
nine Great Wine Capitals on earth. The Napa Valley has
been producing legendary American wines for more than a
century. “The Napa Valley” has become synonymous with
great California wine to enthusiasts all over the world.
Almost 4.5 million people visit Napa Valley’s roughly 450
wineries each year, making it one of the most popular tourist
destinations in California. Napa Valley was named “The
World’s Best Wine and Food Destination” by TripAdvisor’s
2010 Travelers’Choice Awards. We invite you to explore
The Napa Valley imaginary through a wine tasting tour.
The excursion starts at 9:00 am from UCB (exact location TBA).
The itinerary includes:
� Rubicon Estate (Francis Ford Coppola)
� Beringer
� Clos Pegase (tour of the winery, wine tasting, lunch)
� Rutherford Hill
We will be back at UCB at 5:30 pm.
The participation fee is $90 per person. This price includes transportation as well as group tour, wine tasting,
and lunch at Clos Pegase winery. Participants will be able to have additional wine tasting experiences at the
rest of the wineries we will visit at their own cost. The $90 participation fee will be paid at the time of your
