We hope you will join the work of the non-profit Nantucket Dreamland Foundation to help rebuild The Dreamland Theater for the residents of Nantucket-- seasonal and year-round--and for visitors and guests to the island, in a be-loved historic institution that will now enrich the island in so many new ways. Your tax-deductible contributions are needed to help us complete our $32M capital campaign. Since 2008, we have raised more than $24M, including $10M to purchase the site and the balance to design, permit, and build our state of the art, LEED certified center for the arts on Nantucket. We invite you to be a part of a project that will become one of the island’s iconic destinations.

Founders($2,000,000 +) Members of the Founders’ Circle continue to imple-ment their vision for the Dreamland, supporting the unique value of the theater to Nantucket, and pro-viding the anchor gifts necessary for the restitution and return of this historic facility to the island. Their special contribution will be remembered on a plaque in the entry lobby of the building, and of course in our commemorative publication on the history of the Dreamland from Quaker meeting House to modern center for the visual arts. They also will join us at the Red Carpet Gala at the building’s opening.

Trustees($1,000,000 +) The Trustees give significant support to the mission of the Dreamland Foundation, returning the theater to the island and promoting a space for the visual and performing arts. Their contribution also will be re-membered on a plaque in the entry lobby of the build-ing, and of course in our commemorative publication on the history of the Dreamland from Quaker meeting to modern center for the visual arts. They will join us at the Red Carpet Gala at the building’s opening.

Studio Theater ($250,000 to $999,000) The Studio Theater is the building’s most versatile room, and where the Dreamland’s historic components reside. They in-clude the grand trusses and the windows, which date back to when the building was used as a Quaker Meeting House in the early 1800’s. The room can be darkened to show mov-ies, or opened up for small theater, lectures, dances or musical performances. Aside from being included in a donor plaque outside this magnificent room, donors will be noted in our special commemorative publication, and invited to our open-ing Red Carpet Gala.

Harborview Room ($100,000 to $249,000) Harborview Room sponsors also will be noted on a plaque outside the Harborview Room, in the Dreamland’s opening commemorative publication, and by participation in our Red Carpet Gala event. This room incorporates refurbished wood from the floor joists in the old building, and its stunning wood vaulted ceiling capped by an open cupola adds a sense of openness and light to the room, that along with the adjacent deck, provides a breathtaking way to view the surrounding

town and Nantucket Harbor. Next to the room is the building’s kitchen, making it perfect for any Dream-land event or program, or for use by individuals or other non-profits in the community.

Grand Theater Staircase ($50,000 to $99,000)Connecting the lobby and upper access to the Main Theater is a Grand Staircase, and donors in this Circle will be recognized by a plaque on the landing between floors, mentioned in our commemorative publication and an invited to our Red Carpet Gala in 2012.

Editing Room($25,000 to $49,000)Located on the top floor of the new Dreamland, the Film Artists in Residence Room will provide an im-portant space to foster the creation and production of film, and education in the visual arts. The room will be equipped with the best production equipment, providing a space for local film makers or other artists from off the island to come together make movies.

Projection Room ($10,000 to $24,000) The projection room for the Main Theater has state-of-the-art equipment to show digital and 35mm films, and has HD and Bluetooth capability. The room sits near the top of the Grand Stairs, and is integrated part of the flow of movie goers accessing the upper seats of the Main Theater. Donors will be recognized on a plaque outside the room, and will be noted in the Dreamland Foundation’s Annual Report.

Take A Seat ($5,000 per seat) Donors of this initiative in the Main Theater are per-manently integrated in the fabric of the building with a handsomely engraved plaque bearing their name or family name on the back of one of the theater seats.
