Objectives of WP14

To develop and apply a set of communication tools that will allow the Network to improve its efficiency in:

• Integrating partner knowledge and development plans• Spreading knowledge generated inside the network• Link the Network to society to continuously monitor needs and regulations• Link the Network to industries to continuously monitor needs and opportunities• Link the Network to other scientific institutions and/or Networks to continuously monitor new scientific and technological developments.

Tasks Development of a dual-use WEB-based portal (www.nanofun.net) at three levels: Simplified, Advanced and Restricted. Advanced level will include:

• Summaries of Joint Research projects and Transfer Technology programmes,• Publications• Advances in Ph.D activities, • Conferences/ workshops proceedings• Articles in newspapers,• Links to other related web pages• Online technology database available only to project partners.

Major operation: Establish opportunities for virtual distance learning

Simplified level will include• Multimedia presentations • On-line articles available to the public.• Announcements.
