Growing Honeyberry In Kentucky

Honeyberries are a rela vely new frui ng crop for Kentucky. These Northern honeysuckle family members are unlike their cousins...they are non‐

invasive, form a small bush, and produce a dark blue berry similar to blueberries in taste. All of this, and late frosts aren’t an issue. Join us to learn how to grow honeyberries and take home at least two plants as well. Register by February 10th, $20.00 supply charge, limit 40 par cipants.

Many of you may not know but phlox is a rela vely large group of plants! For this class I will concentrate on the perennial phlox from creeping all the way to the tall or garden phlox, and

Peonies The Queens of Spring!

No other perennial outlives peonies! You can find them at abandoned homesteads blooming happily for years. This is one plant that you can fully intend to leave to your

grandchildren! In this session we will discuss how to get peonies off to a good start, plan ng, maintenance, and care of old plants you may already have. We will discuss tree, herbaceous, and intersec onal hybrids. Each par cipant will receive one Bartzella intersec onal peony perhaps the most sought a er peony in the world ($60.00‐Value!!!) which is in the pictures, and at least one herbaceous peony. This will probably be the only me Bartzella will be available in one of my classes! If you want in on this deal you be er act fast, I fully expect this class to fill up quickly. Fabulous Ferns For Indoors Or Out

These ferns aren’t hardy but they are easy to grow and can make even the drabbest porch or shady area come alive. They can be used as houseplants in the winter and then taken outdoors to transform any shady area into a tropical oasis. We will discuss variety selec on, cultural requirements, and general fern care. Each par cipant will receive plants. Register by May 1, limit 40. Free!!!

We will take a look at growing herbs to flavoring your favorite dishes. Learn how to grow, use, and store herbs for use in the kitchen year round.

Each par cipant will also take home a variety of small herb plants to start your own culinary herb garden! Supply charge $10.00, limit 40, register by April 15th.
