Brief Report of Exuberance 2017
The the idea of Exuberance was mooted in the year 2014 whereby the idea was to conduct all the activities in the span of 1 and half day. This normally would be spread out on Friday and Saturday so that teaching be least hampered. The term Exuberance was coined by the students team. Exuberance has since then grown up in leaps and bounds in terms of student participation, organisation and enthusiasm. The event is completely funded by student activity council (SAC). It was from the year 2013 that we started getting a share of SAC funds. It was in 2014 that we started with the event Flash mob to attract student participation which was obviously an instant hit! Later it was decided that the Event Exuberance would be declared open by Flash mob. The Flash mobs have always been theme oriented. And this year was no exception. The success story of Exuberance -14, 15-16 made us rethink re-plan and divide the event in two semesters. We were compelled to divide the total activities-including workshops/seminars in both semester and yet the participation graph keeps on touching new heights, with new activities added as suggested by faculty/student team Art and Intellect. A very important initiative in year 2016 by students and staff team was to
Design Diwali cards
Design Rakhi for Army men sitting on border as a small token of appreciation of their efforts and sleepless nights
The efforts put in by Art and Intellect secretary, Ms Jinal Doda and past student-chairs of event Ms Megha Ramsnehi and the entire team added extra flair and flavor to the success of event !!!

Art & Craft initiatives taken
o Rakhi Making for Jawans :
In wake of the present scenario across border where many of our brave-hearted soldiers have lost their life and still continue to fight the proxy war waged by the enemies at borders and within the country, the team Art and Intellect has taken a initiative that SCET shall from now onwards will send our best wishes in form of Diwali cards and Rakhi to these soldiers sitting on the cold , chilling and killing borders! As a part of imitative , 100 rakhis were sent by Prof Sandhya on personal account last year and more than 110 diwali cards designed by students and faculties were sent to the Indian Army. We received a letter of appreciation as well from the Army headquarters. Beautiful Rakhis have been designed by our students which shall be sent to our soldiers in the month of August / Sept

Seminar on “Resume Writing, Application Writing and Email Writing” and “Make these four years
count!”
It is rightly said that – Show me your resume I will tell you will be hired or not ! Quite true - your resume says a lot about you, it determines whether you will be called in for an interview or not. Even writing application
and emails are also an important aspect for students to apply for a job. Taking all this into consideration the Art and Intellect committee in association with SCETAA organized a seminar on “Resume Writing, Application Writing and Email Writing”. Ms. Rachita Rasiwasia who happens to be a SCET alumni was the speaker. The seminar was organised for 3rd
and 4th year students on 4th March, 2017 9:30 am to 11:30 am at NJ seminar hall. More than 60 students
benefited from the same
