Robert Reisinger, P.E. CH2M HILL Senior Technologist, Environmental Services Business Group

Bob Reisinger is a senior technologist and mine remediation expert in the Environmental Services Business Group at CH2M HILL. He holds a B.S. in Mining Engineering from the University of Wisconsin – Platteville, a MBA from the University of Evansville, Indiana and a M.S. in Environmental Science and Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.

Reisinger support s growth for the environmental mining market across North America and serve as a member of the firm’s worldwide mining team.

Reisinger has more than 30 years of mining experience in developing methods for closure/reclamation, mitigating acid rock drainage, performing engineering feasibility studies and economic analysis, and analyzing regulations in both the private and public mining sectors. He has a strong mining and environmental background with experience in both the private and public sectors. He has completed more than 40 mine reclamation and closure projects throughout the world.

Reisinger also has significant experience in performing environmental assessments, environmental audits, and environmental impact statements related to mining sites throughout the world.

Reisinger is a member of the American Society of Mining and Reclamation (ASMR) and the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration, Inc. (SME). He is on the Executive Committee of SME’s Environmental Division. He is author and co-author of numerous publications and recently coordinated an article with the International Council on Mining and Metals and their sustainability initiatives published in the October 2011 issue of Mining Engineering Magazine.
