1) Company Name : HSBC Data Processing Malaysia, Cyberjaya Position Title : Fund Administrator Duration : 1 May 2014 – present
• Acting as a Static Administrator for Alternative Fund Services. Main responsibility would be understand the characteristic of different Hedge funds and assist fund managers to collect consolidate tool bulk orders from the custodians in regards to Static updates and Fund series creation. Daily activities would be review the Offering Memorandum received from customers’ instruction. Task includes:
i. Valuate the preference of their investment scheme and allocate it into the relative fuds based on client’s profile; assisting Business Area in allocate cash payments to investors based on instruction received; assisting Business Area in performing Static updates for investors; assisting Business Area in creating relevant Monthly/Individual Series Fund id; and lastly performing ad-hoc project based on business areas needs and fund manager requirements.
ii. Providing assistance in operation handling in all transactions (Static Data, CFI/Bank Details, Name Change, Account Creation and Fund Series Creation)
iii. Involved in Fund of Fund updates in investor’s subscription and redemption orders.
PROJECT Short term assignment (STA) to HSBC Luxembourg-HSS Lux (20 September – 13 December 2014) Business has requested continuous support to stabilize AMG on-boarding project. STA responsibilities:
1. Support Dealing team for 1 week. a. Ensure to achieve zero customer complaints on services and handling of
customer’s trade instructions b. Ensure execution of instructions within the stipulated time frame and with
accuracy to ensure no losses/errors 2. Support Registration team for 3 months
a. Providing assistance in handling Static data updates which includes Static Data i.e. change of beneficial owner’s name, change of investor’s address, and bank details updates.
b. Performing ad-hoc task i.e. updating information on GTAP system based on reports produced form KYC/AML team and IT team.
