TRANSPORTATION

The transportation group of companies, Konsortium Transnasional Berhad (KTB), is the largest operator of public bus transportation in Malaysia comprising express and stage bus operations within Peninsular Malaysia. KTB possesses several brands in our fleet of buses that cater to different segments of the market. Transnasional, Plusliner and NICE provide express bus services whilst Cityliner provide stage bus services in several states in the country. KTB gives its customers the best service, safety and comfort throughout the journey to all its destinations.

MANUFACTURING

The manufacturing group consists of textiles & apparel and automotive engineering. The group is involved in several areas of the textiles & apparel industry. Its integrated textile mill produces a variety of fabrics and surgical dressing and is the main supplier of 100% cotton fabric to the Malaysian batik industry. The production and retailing of batik and batik products are activities, of which Nadicorp is proud to be the flag bearer for one of Malaysia’s culture heritage. The group is also involved in industrial tailoring, specialising in functional clothing for emergency services and military personnel. In addition to clothing, the textiles division produces military parachutes to be marketed to the OIC (Organisation of Islamic Conference) and ASEAN (Association of South-East Asian Nations) region.

Automotive engineering activities in the manufacturing group include tyre retreading and coach building.

LOGISTICS

Transocean Group of companies is a well-diversified total logistics service provider which involves in air and sea freights, cross border consolidated and chartered trucking, warehousing, container haulage services, customs clearance and forwarding services. It commenced business in 1977 being one of the pioneer logistics companies in Malaysia to provide cross border trucking services to and fro Penang and Singapore. Its business activities are conducted under the well established brand name “Transocean”.

It further acquired TFS Logistics Pte Ltd, a Singapore company with warehouse facilities in 2011 as collection and distribution center in Singapore.

AGRO-BUSINESS & PROPERTY

The property group’s activities consist of property investment and development. The group has a significant land bank for which plans are underway to develop several commercial projects. The group owns a large oil plantation and currently ventures into integrated farming.

Transocean Holdings Bhd, the holding company was listed on the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange in 1996. It has offices and warehouses in Penang, Kuala Lumpur, Johor Bahru and Singapore to perform prompt and efficient door to door services.

During the past 2 years, Transocean has penetrated into the cross border trucking services between Malaysia and Thailand by cooperating with one logistics provider located at the Dry Cargo Terminal of Padang Besar, Perlis, the border town between Malaysia and Thailand. It also cooperates with a Thailand logistics company with collection centers in major Thailand cities to service its Thailand/Malaysia/ Singapore cross border trucking customers.

Its air and sea freight services had been strengthened through cooperation with one local air freight company which is the franchisee for one US air freight company which has offices in Major cities worldwide.

DEFENCE

This unit was recently formed to build on and expand existing defence sector business and to provide the vehicle with which to undertake large contracts within the defence industry. The unit’s main focus areas are defence related infrastructure projects, equipment supply and associated logistic support services for all branches of the defence forces.

OTHER SERVICES

A number of companies were developed to provide certain support services to the Nadicorp group of companies and has successfully achieved significant cost-savings in those respective areas. Among the services are insurance, security, enforcement and training.
