ACCREDITATION

Subject  Ma+er  Experts  from  key  industry  stakeholders,  facilitated  by  PRI,  develop  comprehensive,  detailed,  consensus  Audit  Criteria  (checklists).  

The  most  technically  educated  and  experienced  personnel  for  the  specific  special  processes  trained  as  auditors,  and  conGnually  provided  addiGonal  training  and  oversight  by  Task  Group  (industry  experts  for  each  special  process).  

Auditors  simply  perform  the  audit,  freed  from  follow-­‐on  acGviGes  such  as  reviewing  correcGve  acGons,  fixing  problems,  etc.  Supplier  audits  are  conducted  by  different  auditors  each  year.  

Professional  staff  hired  by  PRI  manage  all  Root  Cause  

CorrecGve  AcGon  (RCCA)  acGviGes.

Group members (Industry).

Store  every  aspect  of  every  audit  –  answers  to  checklist  quesGons,  discussions,  all  root  cause  and  correcGve  acGon  informaGon,  and  supporGng  evidence  –  in  a  secure,  globally  accessible  online  database;  and  use  the  database  to  produce  reports  that  provide  comprehensive  visibility  into  the  most  criGcal  issues  for  each  and  all  subscribing  members.

Russia • PRI Goal: to support Russian Primes in implementing Nadcap

supplier accreditation program for special processes

•  October 2012 – met with UAC, Irkut and Suppliers; key milestones developed to be completed in 2013

•  Working with Irkut to schedule pilot Nadcap audits at Suppliers to the MS-21 program

•  Provide supporting Professional Development services •  Auditor recruitment and development is a key factor in successful

implementation of Nadcap program in Russia

2013 Current Activities: Program Delivery:

•  Heat Treating and Chemical Processing groups currently developing Bodies of Knowledge and examinations

•  On-going discussions to support delivery of online examinations for the SAE CACRC group

•  Program documents in development to establish procedures for exam equivalence and third party training provider approval

2013 Objectives: •  Increase global program participation and obtain signed Subscriber Agreements •  Establish 3 further special process groups (Composites, Welding and Brazing)
