Founders’ Day is traditionally a very important day in the Ashoka Education Foundation
calendar when members of all its Units– students, administrators, directors, principals, educators,
,staff and friends – meet to commemorate those who founded AEF and who have bequeathed
resources to its development.
An atmosphere of celebration filled AEF premises when the students and educators of all the
Units gathered to celebrate the Founder’s Day. It was also a day of added joy as the day
happened to be the birthday of AEF’s Chairman, Sri Ashok Katariya.
The chief aim is to actively develop the ambition and potential of every student, whether it is
academic or any other sphere. AEF believes that a student can achieve anything with focus,
perseverance and confidence.
Many students from ABS, ACE, AICESR and ACBCS made impressive presentations of their Start-
ups in front of the Chairman on the eve of his Birthday. Two students from ABS, Nikhil Keluskar
and Abhishek Deshpande made a huge impact on the audience by their creative presentations.

Internship is very important for shaping MBA student career path. I am
very glad that ABS has provided me such a huge path to do my
internship in Bizsol. My special thanks to Mr. Venkitachalam sir who
believed in me and gave me the opportunity to go pune for my
internship in Bizsolfx. My internship was in Forex which was a new
area for me. I learned many things related to forex like keeping watch
on currencies, to hedge at better rate and different hedging strategy.
Thanks to ABS it help me a lot to improve my personal knowledge,
skill, communication and confidence in me.
I believe it would not be an exaggeration to call an MBA college a
mini-corporate house when all aspiring manager get management
education along with supportive staff. Ashoka is one of the leading
MBA College in Nasik that provides best of the managerial education
to students. Ashoka made me more disciplined and helped me to grow
professionally.
The industry exposure that I received during my internship in Graphite
India Limited will always me valuable for me. The amount of
dedication and professionalism I saw in the employees working at the
company motivated to me. It helps me to enhance and develop my
skills, abilities and knowledge.
I joined ABS a year ago pursuing my Year 1 MBA, and since then the
institute have exposed me to various wonderful, challenging,
organizing experiences.
Getting to work with Siemens Ltd with reference of ABS have helped
me a lot in gaining a lot of Industrial Exposure and grooming our self
as per the industrial standards from dress code to communication.
Following the rules and regulations from Safety Policy to POSH
Policy. Being as An HR Intern at Siemens Ltd taught me about the
activities and works to be carried out by HR in an organization and also
about Industrial Relations.
Professionalism at work and in organization is what one should always
be with,Getting Groomed as an HR Intern one of the most important
thing that I learned is creating the contacts in Industry and to maintain
them formally and informally.

My internship at the Dhumal Metals PVT LTD(DMPL) started in June
2018 till July 2018.My overall experience was very good. We all learn
many things from our books, but the things which experience in the
company is far more different then the things which are written in
books. As I am an operations student I have learnt many things from
that company. These are the things which we can experience in the company itself we
can’t learn this things from the books. So ABS gave me the opportunity
to not only learn the things theoretically but also practically by
providing me internship at Dhumal Metals PVT LTD (DMPL).
I did my Summer Internship Project at Bizsol India Services Pvt. Ltd.
Nashik, a tax consultancy firm, headed by Mr. Venkat R. Venkitachalam
Sir. I owe my sincere gratitude to him. ABS also helped me to boost my
knowledge, skills and confidence.
ABS helped me to get Internship for the Industrial Exposure which
enlighten the practical know-how of an organisation. I studied
International Business at Bizsol India Services Pvt. Ltd. Tenure of two
months I spend there were the best and knowledge gaining. All the office
colleagues helped me throughout my project and guided me well in my
sector.
Internships are key to building experience as a student or a recent
graduate. I am grateful to Ashoka Business School for providing this
wonderful opportunity. Proud to say, I was working with Ashoka
Buildcon Ltd. By working there, I did learn a lot of things and
developed Industry specifics skills, gaining valuable work experience
from a corporate life.
I got an opportunity to apply my skills and test my strengths that turned
me into a more confident person. It gave me a chance to select the right
career option and establish a professional network in my field. Also, I
would like to thank Mr. Sunil Sarna (GM-HR), ABL, for spending his
precious time to help us learn.

Yes, it is very important for a student to undergo an internship because
it connects your learning experience of college with industry. And
working with Ashoka Education Foundation was a great experience and
Dr. vikas gaundhare my guide helped me for that. In Ashoka Education
Foundation I have learned various aspects of of HR that how HR
policies applied in educational organisation. And Ashwini madam HR
of the organisation helped me so much in learning different aspects of
HR in educational organisation. And Ashoka Education Foundation
prepared me for whatever my next position may be as a successful HR.
Coming to Nasik & doing MBA from ABS was a challenging
experience for me, as dealing with an unfamiliar conversation system
but still somehow I cracked it. The challenge is trying to sum up months
worth of experience in just a paragraph. Even more, this post marks the
end of my internship.
My internship experience has taught me more than I could have
imagined. As an HR intern I feel my duties were diverse & innovative.
Working with a well renowned German company is quite
overwhelming which helped me develop my skills & standard in HR &
IR perspective. I would say internships are vitally important, because
working in recruitment we want to see experience on your CV. Without
experience your CV does not stand out from everyone else's. I am
highly obliged with the company & college mentor who showered me
with their par experienceand allowed me to develop lots of HR skills
like confidence, presentations skills, networking skills, administrative
skills.
Small opportunities present themselves throughout your life and if taken
at the right time, they can serve as stepping stone to a brighter
future.Philips Lighting or Signify as it is called now - is achieving great
things in the lighting industry that will contribute to a sustainable future
and to be a part of it was something I was always fond of.
As an Intern I was assigned to approach various Builders, Architects
and Electric Contractor in Nashik in order to get their preferences
towards Philipslighting. The most important thing that I gained from
this internship is to have patience and the will to never give-up because
it was a quite struggle to get few minutes of time of top builders and
architects in Nashik. With the help of internship, we can learn various
marketing ideas, technique etc. used by the companies to pinch
customers. Thanks to ABS.

When I started researching companies, PHILIPS immediately seemed
like a no brainer. They are headquartered in Mumbai city and the
company seemed perfect with what I wanted to do. After a few
interview rounds (both through telephonic and in person) I accepted an
offer with them to be a Marketing intern.
I worked on multiple customers engagements throughout my summer
internship. Most of my customers were retailers from Nasik,
Ahmednagar, Jalgaon, Jhalna & Aurangabad regions, however Nasik
being the prime region. I was assigned task of collecting quantitative
and qualitative data from marketing campaigns, performing market
analysis and research on competition, supporting the marketing team in
daily administrative tasks, assisting in marketing and advertising
promotional activities, helping in distribution marketing materials,
managing and updating company database and customer relationship
management systems. With help of my guide and mentor
Internship is the most important part of MBA. I have done my two
months internship in Epcos India Pvt Ltd. Internship helped us to know
about the working in the corporate sector. My experience of Internship
was very good. I have done the work of planning and scheduling of
training program in the company. In that, I came to about the whole
process of planning and scheduling of training and I also came to know
about various other works related to Human Resource department. By
working there, I learned a number of things and developed industry
specific skills, gained valuable work experience that will help me in the
future. I am thankful to Manisha Bhamare ma’am for giving me
guidance for the internship and I am also thankful to Amruta Patil
ma’am (Senior HR Executive of Epcos India Pvt. Ltd.), who was my
company mentor for giving me opportunity to apply my skills and test
my strengths that turned me into a more confident person.
