    Title: Everything Went DownScore: A

Comments: This was a cute almost nave film focused onmusic, but the songs were well designed to go along with thestory. In the beginning the woman seems too nervous tohave been in the music business for five years. She wasactually a little jangly in all of her scenes at the beginning ofthe film. This works out in the end as this is not a romanceso she need not be too likable. There is a very beautifulmontage of sunsets in the middle of the film that is wellplaced to music. Some of the not so real parts are that acancer victim is usually not conscious four days before they

die. Some research at a hospice would have paid off.

Title: The Lady VanishedScore: AComments: So short, there is a few minutes of commentaryat the beginning, so it is really short. The acting wasfantastic especially the patient and the advising counselor.

The wife was not properly miked when she threatened to kill

the advising counselor, so her voice was muffled and quitenon-threatening. The ending was a little hum-drum if notpredictable by the young counselors dialogue. The sceneprops were great choices for this film but not for acounselors office in general. The darkness for one, and thepainting on the wall was reminiscent of fresh blood.

    Title: Man of GlassScore: C

Comments: What a wild ride into the steam-punk aesthetic. The actors say some words with a French accent and othersin an English accent. They sound like they are reading thescript for the first time together there are gaps in whatshould be fluid conversations. The whole film doesnt tell astory it is more like vignettes from a story. The maincharacter gets accused of crimes he didnt commit and is let

free, rinse and repeat. There are choppy camera effects a laGuy Ritchie but they are only in a spot at a time so it looksmore like bad editing. They made good use of the music itwas fitting for the period and the color of the film. The sets

and costumes were great I couldnt find anything out of date. There were similarities to the Sherlock Holmes films as if thiswas what was left over.

Title: Roundabout AmericanScore: BComments: The acting gets much better at the end but itsan hour and a half long film. The production is of a fairquality but it works for this story. For example when they arechasing their Hummerzine they are shown sitting inside the

Hummerzine that they are chasing. I could imagine seeing iton cable or at the video store. The locations are all goodchoices with a little Chicago sightseeing. Good choices inmusic. The ending is well played, we already knew herfeelings for him when she was going to follow the money shes a prostitute. And he knew when he saw her with theother guy about to leave. So there is n point in trying to becute about it.
