• NOMINATION: Your ACA membership number must be provided otherwise your nomination will
not be processed – no casual memberships are available
• JUVENILLE age is 13 years to under 17 years old. JUNIOR age is 8 years to under 13 years old.
MINI is open to children under 8 years old, however they must ride independently – no leads.
• HELMET RULE: Riders under the age of 18 must wear helmets whilst mounted on a horse at all
ACA-affiliated events. Helmets must comply with current Australian and New Zealand safety
standards and must be securely fastened under the chin at all times.
• STATUS OF A HORSE: The status of a horse winning a campdraft will be determined by the
highest class of horse that competes with the exception of Juniors, Juveniles, Ladies, Old Buffers,
Associates and Encouragement campdrafts. The winner attains the status of the highest class of
horse participating (eg. if one Open horse competes then it is classed as an Open draft)
• The Judge’s decision is final
• The Committee reserves the right to change the program without notice
• SCRATCHINGS will be dealt with according to rule D.5 of the ACA guidelines
• A 100% refund will be given if competitor withdraws more than 168 hours (7 days) prior to 8am
of the first morning of the program
• If a competitor withdraws between 96 hours (4 days) prior to 8am of the first morning of the
program, the entire nomination fee may be retained by the committee
• If the committee deems that extenuating circumstances apply, then a refund may be granted. Each
case will be at the discretion of the committee
• PRIZE MONEY will be paid according to ACA guidelines (Rules R8 & R9)
• COMPLAINTS: Any competitor who wishes to lodge a complaint at an affiliated Campdraft must
lodge the complaint in writing with the Secretary of the host committee within one (1) hour of the
incident taking place. A fee of $20 must be lodged with the complaint. If the complaint is dismissed
by the committee, the $20 is forfeited.
• STALLIONS must be contained in accordance with Rule 11.12 of the ACA Rules

- Nomination changes must be done before each draft, no changes will be accepted otherwise.

As part of our COVID management plan, we are required to record all patrons electronically. There
is phone coverage at Yaraka/grounds which you can sign in by using the Qld COVID CHECK IN APP.
These signs will be positioned at the entrance of the Kiama Park and also signs will be placed
throughout the facility.

Kiama Park Sports Ground is situated on the Yaraka Retreat Road, approx. 5kms from
Yaraka
No camping within the boundary of the old racectrack.

There is limited power on site so please bring your own generator, please do not fence off
power boxes. Be aware that electric blankets and heaters put a large load on the power
supply, the committee would suggest not to use them.
Bring your own drinking water (bottle water on sale), water is available in areas around
the campgrounds but it is not drinkable (Dam water)
Some yarding & stables available but limited (bring own fencing)
