NEWTON’S LAWS OF MOTIONBy Molly K. and Angela R.
NEWTON’S FIRST LAW OF MOTIONAN OBJECT AT REST STAYS AT REST, UNLESS ACTED UPON BY ANOTHER FORCE
This law is often called the ‘Law of inertia.’ This means that an object will stay at rest unless an applied force acts upon it, like a push or pull. This is why you should wear aseatbelt!

NEWTON’S SECOND LAW OF MOTIONTHE GREATER THE MASS OF AN OBJECT, THE MORE FORCE NEEDED TO MOVE AND STOP THE OBJECT.
This means that the more the object weighs, the more force is needed to move it. It is like trying to kick a wall compared to a ball!
NEWTON’S THIRD LAWFOR EVERY ACTION THERE IS AN EQUAL AND OPPOSITE REACTION.
This means the action could be a rocket pushing on the ground, and the reaction would be the rocket would fly up into the sky.
