DIVISION HOT SHOTS TENNIS Our NPPS Hot Shots players travelled to the Mildura Lawn Tennis Club to play against Mildura South, Sacred Heart and Our Lady’s Merbein on Tuesday. Both our girls and boys teams were successful in winning their competitions and have made it through to the regionals in Swan Hill in a few weeks time. Well done Pointers!
DIVISION VOLLEYBALL Our NPPS Girls Volleyball team played against competition from Mildura PS and St Paul’s on Tuesday at Mildura South Primary School. In some tight matches, the girls won sending them through to regionals in Swan Hill. Great Job!
DIVISION SOFTBALL On Wednesday our NPPS girls and boys softball teams travelled to the Aerodrome Ovals to compete in the Division Softball competition. Both teams played really well against some tough competition and even though our teams did not make it through to the next level, they represented NPPS proudly. Top Effort!

Society’s Screams
Our society is screaming, For some form of meaning. To feel needed, To be leaded. You can’t hear them? Actually listen then, They're screaming ‘when, when?’ When will we learn? When is it our turn? Our turn to be us, Without all this fuss. We were supposed to be the best, How did we fail that test? Wake up, This is not us giving up. This is society trying, Instead of laying down and dying. Forget sometimes the colour of your skin, Makes your chances dim. Forget the screaming and the fights, Let go of the restless nights. Forget trying to follow the rules of humanity, To keep your sanity. But remember, Remember loving being a member. A member of a society, Where everyone is loved undeniably. You may think that we are beyond fixing, But all it will take is some mixing. Now everyone screams, ‘Meaning, meaning.’ Written by Sierra Green
