ODE TO SOLARMANIA A Poem by Doug Canup
As the ominous darkness came the small town of Hayesville stood in fear
Many were afraid the apocalypse was near Others afraid that zombies would appear
However there was no need for fear as your super hero CCCRA volunteers were here
Every Saturday at the front of Nantahala Bank you have them to thank
For it was heard far and wide that they worked tirelessly on your side
Providing Solar T-shirts and gear so you wouldnrsquot have to shed a tear
It was said these items could protect you from a zombie bite or nuclear apocalypse too
