Cattlemen: I turned most of the sale preparation and advertising over to Terrill and Sarah Strnad. My

hope is they will let me be the guest consigner for as long as I have cattle. I am very proud to be

associated with Terrill and Sarah, Russ and Darla, and Troy and Julia’s Family. They are increasing

their herd sizes and have a bright future as Charolais breeders. My contribution will be feeder and

manager of the bulls and helper when we work the bulls in preparation of the sale. We will continue

to value your business and friendships established over the years.

This year we went with a different feeding

program that actually used less percentage corn

and more by-products. The ration throughout

feeding period to yearling weight time was

50% concentrate, 25% ground alfalfa, and 25%

ground prairie hay. There is no excess fat on the

bulls, just bred-in thickness. This docile group is

easy to handle.

Dear Cattlemen: I have been honored for many years to consign, help, and use my resources to help Myron

with the bull sale. Time passes quickly and just seems like yesterday Myron brought a clipping chute

over when I was a kid (as he still calls me), and helped me along with my brother Troy and my sister

Darla get calves ready for fair time. 34 years later Myron still helps with the calves and promotes the

Charolais breed to the best of his ability. I have been here long enough to know that statements of

Loyalty, Longevity, Honor, and Commitment still mean something. I plan on continuing the tradition that

has provided the Runft Family with a lively hood

for several generations. Many new herd sires are

working into our program with the use of AI and

soon Embryo transfer. My self along with my wife

Sarah will work hard to bring you a productive

Charolais bull sale in 2016 and beyond.
