• Teaching Modules developed by MDEC and MoE to support the implementation of new KSSR & KSSM that begins with Year 1, Form 1, and Form 4 in 2017.
• The objectives of the module is to guide teachers to plan their pedagogy in classroom and to embed Computational Thinking skill and Computer Science elements so that teaching & learning will be more effective
Beginning 2017 supported by MDEC, MoE has integrated Computational Thinking (CT) and Computer Science (CS)
in National School Curriculum

Digital Ninja is a series of leadership and digital making skills enhancement programs and activities organised by Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) targeting Malaysia’s talented and brightest young with proven track record in digital creativity and innovating digital solutions between the ages of 13 to 17 years old.
Students aspiring tobecome Digital Ninjasare put through thepaces in a• series of labs• Rapid prototyping• competitionsthat would test andtrain their prowess intech and digital makingskills.
Upon completing high school,Digital Ninjas are trained in• soft skills• guided on potential higher
learning• as well as career pathways
available to them ; and• familiarise with the
selection process facedas they chart their techambitions.
During their attachments with industrypartners Digital Ninjas experience :• real industries and work culture• shadow experienced digital tech
professionals• deepen their respective passions
and interests at the workplace• also exposed to social
responsibilities• further guided on their career
pathways
After going through all the residentialprograms the students areautomatically invited to join DigitalNinja Alumni Association . Throughtheir own• social outreach programs• participating in invited events of
MDEC / external parties• sharing talk sessions with their

#MYDIGITALMAKER FAIR is a hands-on, minds-on annual extravaganza event designed for students, teachers and families. The
first #MYDIGITALMAKER FAIR was held on 16th & 17th September 2017 at Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. The event witnessed
approximately 20,000 v isitors and it was a huge success.
Led by our partner Engage Media, the event features a family-friendly festival of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness and a
celebration of the digital maker movement.
