You can only enter 3 as required and 3 as preferred. The reason for this is to support matching and searching.

For example, if an organization’s preferences are too wide then it does not allow the searching for us to be effective because it is too broad. If there are

too many required fields then it makes it hard for us to search as well since the requirements are then too specific.
