BASIS

Language is the most powerful tool in the development of any human being. It is undeniably the greatest asset we possess. A good grasp of language is synonymous with a sound ability to think. In other words language and thought are inseparable. Language has a major role in supporting children’s process of identity formation and in helping them understand where they fit in the new environment they are entering. The acquisition of language is essential not only to children’s cognitive development, but also to their social development and wellbeing.

THEME

The theme of this unit is plants. The children will learn to identify the different parts of a plant and find out about the properties and characteristics of both ordinary and unusual plants, and the way human beings use them.

AIMS

Objectives in the project are that students will identify parts of a plant, also they will analyze and explain how various plant parts function and students will predict what would happen if specific parts were not present.

FRAMEWORK

Children will reforce, explore and adquire their knowlegde from a plant and its purpose in the enviroment .

ACHIEVEMENTS

The children will discuss similarities and different between plants using too and either; and they will use a variety of lexical items used to describing the properties and parts of plans; also, they’ll develop pronunciation skills in a exposure.

HERE, WE PREPARED OUR PLANTS IN PAIRS AND ENJOY TO INDICATES THEIR PARTS.

Now, we have finished to identify its part’s names.

Hi! I’m George my plant is special because it isn’t a common plant its a little carnivorous plant this plants that derive some or most of their nutrients (but not energy) from trapping and consuming animals or protozoans, typically insects and other arthropods.

Finally, in groups and pairs prepared our exposure about plant and presented it in front of our classmates. And also, we visited to the botanical garden to looking up for carnivorous plants, but our search was a failure.
