Introduction

This book is a compilation of all my works on this school

year. I’ll show you my work on internet using different

pages online, in some cases I put all of the exercises but,

in other cases I put one example.

I am very grateful that you have given me some of your

time to see this book; I hope you enjoy it and learn

something from it.

In this section you find some newsrooms about many

themes, I use the page www.porterous.com.

First in this page I did an introduction about me. After I

did some exercises online to raise my qualification. In class,

the teacher gives us exercises in which at the end were

asking us to do a story; when the story was ready we had to

upload it to this page, and add an image alluding. But in

some cases the story required more corrections and I had to

correct it.

Here all the stories I did, in reverse order (newest date to

oldest)…

Flatmates

I did 10 episodes per week, and every 20 episodes at

www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/learningenglish/flatmates/arc

hivelanguagepoint.shtml. I did an examination, about the

quiz that came at the end of each episode. Every episode

had a story, a vocabulary and one quiz, I had to take note

about the words that I didn’t know for the exam. I had three

exams. Here one example of the episodes…

Ellis Academic

I don’t have examples for this section because I did the

exercises in the labs of the school; Ellis Academic is an

application for learning English, in this application are there

videos, audios, and test. When I finish one unit, I had to

answer the test; the application tells you what qualification

you have, I needed 90% or more to pass the unit.

I did some tests more than four times, but I learned

more because I remember the things that I'm wrong easily.

Audioboo

Here I did recordings to answer questions, that the teacher

asked to us, I had to make a short answer,after recording

the answer, edit with music and upload at the page

www.audioboo.fm and add an image alluding. I did 11

recordings…here all of them, well only the text, the audio

isn’t here.

English Bites

Finally I saw episodes of English Bites at the page

www.australianetwork.com. Each episode was worth 0.2, so

to have 10, I had to do 50. I saw the episode, and each

video had words highlighted, so I had to with the phrase

complete where this word was used, and a short resume of

the video. Here one example…

Conclusion

As you could see, technology is a tool for learning,

especially for the idioms, because you need to practice

and practice for knows more.

My experience was great, I recommend the pages that

I used, I learn much vocabulary, and my pronunciation is

better than before.

I expect all students to come, can to learn more, don’t

despair, everybody can to do amazing things, if you want

you can speak all of the idioms…Love the life, enjoy it,

question for all things, and relaxing.
